2012 Kids' Choice Awards: The Show, The Winners

Capping off another year of honoring the youth's favorite in entertainment, Nickelodeon's 25th Annual Kids' Choice Awards took place in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday evening (March 31).

With Will Smith keeping the laughs coming as host of the event, the KCAs offered up plenty of action with performances by Katy Perry and One Direction being among the highlights of the ceremony.

As for the victorious honorees, Justin Bieber ended up taking home hardware as Favorite Male Singer while his girlfriend Selena Gomez nabbed the Favorite Female Singer title.

With Adam Sandler and Kristen Stewart emerging triumphant in the Favorite Actor and Actress fields, the show also included a special tribute to Taylor Swift, as First Lady Michelle Obama doted her with the Big Help Award for her work with tornado and flood survivors in the US.

Are you ready for another <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/ludacris/artist.jhtml">Ludacris</a> album? It's been two years since 'Cris dropped his last album, Battle of the Sexes, and the Atlanta MC estimates that his next one will hit stores this spring. "I get the beats together and I put out my ideas, so I'd say we're maybe about 40 percent done," the rapper told <a href="http://www.billboard.com/column/the-juice/ludacris-eyes-spring-ludaversal-release-1005831952.story#/column/the-juice/ludacris-eyes-spring-ludaversal-release-1005831952.story" target="_blank">Billboard</a> of his upcoming eighth LP, Ludaversal, which he anticipates will be out around May with a first single dropping in March. Luda, who dropped his <a href="/news/articles/1674369/ludacris-1.21-gigawatts-mixtape.jhtml">1.21 Gigawatts mixtape</a> in November, also revealed one big-time guest on the LP. As far as what the two have cooked up for Ludaversal, fans will just have to wait and see. Throughout his career, Luda has shown a ton of versatility. An undeniable hitmaker, at times the nimble-tongued lyricist has been comical (2001's "Area Codes" and 2004's "Number One Spot") and in other instances delivered healthy amounts of substance (2006's "Runaway Love" and 2008's "Do the Right Thing"). For Ludaversal, he will get a little personal. "It's been a minute since I've been away from music, and there is just so much to talk about," he said. Fit & Fabulous Ashley Tisdale's 'Happy' and 'Blessed' Day

Looking a bit worn down from another long week, Ashley Tisdale was spotted out for a week-ending workout in West Hollywood, CA on Friday (March 30).

The 26-year-old actress took to Sunset Plaza for the day's sweat session while also sending out a cheerful tweet, which read, "Happy day! Feeling so blessed :)"

The gym outing comes as Miss Tisdale is gearing up to begin production on her new CBS multicamera comedy pilot - as sources tell that the project will be getting underway next week.

With Ashley playing a character named Petra, who's described as a "beautiful and sarcastic assistant to a vintage clothing designer," the show itself is "an ensemble of young people trying to achieve their creative dreams in these tough financial times."

Lindsay Lohan: "Grateful" and "Happy" Over Legal Accomplishment

Just hours removed from a successful final probation hearing, Lindsay Lohan has voiced her joy over having the chance to move forward with her career and life, in general.

Talking with TMZ, the 25-year-old happily said, "It's a tremendous weight that I feel like has been lifted off my shoulders and I feel really grateful and just happy and ready to move forward."

Continuing on about closing out her formal probation period, Miss Lohan told, "It's been several years so, I did what I had to do and, you know, it takes time to realize that, but, it's a good day."

As for what got her past her troubles, Lindsay said that she looked at how she'd floundered her career - which was something that she always aspired to attain.

Realizing the undesirable place in which her decisions had landed her, the "Mean Girls" starlet said that she told herself, "This is not what I signed up for. Grow up!"

Tween dream swagger is all over <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a>'s lead Believe single, <a href="/news/articles/1681595/justin-bieber-boyfriend.jhtml">"Boyfriend."</a> Taking several cues from Justin Timberlake's early post-'NSYNC work, the track amps up Bieber's credibility as a teen idol and remixes it with the type of production work longtime pop music fans can appreciate. <center><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:752329/cp~vid%3D752329%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A752329" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed></center> Lyrically, it sounds a bit silly at times (like when Bieber proposes he and his girl eat fondue by the fire), but Bieber's delivery of the lines proves that at 18, he's willing to take the steps to move forward in the world of pop. Sometimes it seems a little too similar to the way the other Justin delivers lines, but "Boyfriend," co-produced and co-written by Mike Posner, is light-years beyond the sugary sweet "Baby." The song opens pretty sparsely, with just a thumping beat, a "woo" noise and Bieber's sing-songy rap, before a guitar comes in as Bieber makes his plea to win a girl over. The chorus will have girls dancing around thanks to its bumping beat and chugging R&B-influenced instrumentation. He sings, "I could be a gentleman/ Everything you want/ If I was your boyfriend/ I'd never let you go/ I'd never let you go," before rapping, "Tell me what you like." Bieber uses some form of the word "swag" no fewer than four times on the track, including the somewhat perplexing line, "Swag, swag, swag on you." But regardless of what Bieber detractors might have to say, his Beliebers, who have aged right along with their idol, will appreciate his more grown-up sound on the record. The song officially dropped at midnight on Monday. <a href="/news/articles/1680373/justin-bieber-believe-album.jhtml">Believe</a> will be released later this year. Kony 2012 Campaign Catches Eyes Of Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga

Campaign aims to bring African militia leader Joseph Kony to justice for war crimes and for enlisting children as soldiers.

A campaign to stop the nearly 30-year, brutal rule of African militia leader Joseph Kony became a viral sensation this week. <a href="http://kony2012.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com" target="_blank">"Kony 2012,"</a> started by the group Invisible Children, aims to make Kony's face so famous that authorities will finally be able to arrest him and try him for his crimes. A 30-minute <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4MnpzG5Sqc" target="_blank">documentary</a> released on Monday is one of the keys to the campaign, and as of Thursday it had gotten more than 26 million views. The video details the atrocities carried out by Kony and his Lord's Resistance Army. The campaign appears to be working, as at one point on Wednesday, Invisible Children and #stopkony were trending higher on Twitter than Peyton Manning or the new iPad. Since 1987, human rights officials say Kony has forcefully abducted more than 60,000 children to be soldiers in his army and reportedly raped, mutilated and killed civilians in Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan and displaced more than 2 million people. The leader is wanted for committing atrocities by the International Criminal Court and is being hunted down by 100 U.S. Special Forces advisers and local troops in four Central African nations, according to the <a href="http://bit.ly/AyrDyz">Associated Press.</a> Kony 2012 is an effort to capture Kony and disarm the LRA before a reported window of opportunity closes. One way it plans to do that is by encouraging users to directly message a variety of stars to make use of their Twitter ubiquity to get the word out. Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox are being accused of assaulting a photographer in what is being called a beach brawl. The actor could find himself in some serious trouble if these allegations are true. � Photographer Delbert Shaw is claiming that while he was taking pictures of a bikini clad Fox on the beach both Megan and Brian began objecting with verbal threats. The event allegedly occurred while the couple was vacationing in Hawaii last December. According to the New York Daily News a lawyer for Shaw has said that the altercation turned violent when Fox asked her hubby if he was going to let the photog get way with taking pics of her. After that the former 90210 star allegedly tackled Delbert and threw his iPhone into the ocean outside the Four Seasons. Shaw is claiming that he sustained injuries when Brain threw him to the ground and tossed him around including some bruising and a black eye. The lawsuit was officially filed today and Delbert is asking for an unspecified amount of damages. Apparently TMZ has photos of Green lunging at Shaw, which could help his case. HGTV, LA and Dining Room Tables

I've been watching a lot of HGTV since coming to LA. My favorite shows are House Hunters and House Hunters International. There's also another show I like to watch called For Rent, but only because it makes me angry.

When it comes to apartments/homes, I think living in New York for the past eleven years has made me bitter because there was this whiny broad on For Rent a few nights ago who was looking at a huge place—A HUGE PLACE—and was like, "There's no place for a dining room table..."

B*TCH, YOU'RE LUCKY TO GET A KITCHEN IN NEW YORK.

I hated her.

Now there's some stupid lady on House Hunters who wants a townhouse with a fireplace that she can turn on with a light switch. IT HAS TO BE A LIGHT SWITCH because she doesn't want to bend down and flip a switch on the floor.

WHO DO THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE?

Anyway, I know my LA update is WAY overdue (and truth be told I wrote a long one last week but for some reason it didn't save so I lost the whole thing and I was so angry that I just said, "Ah, f*ck it," and closed the computer instead of rewriting) but to give you a quick update, I AM SO HAPPY HERE. I MEAN, I'M REALLY, REALLY HAPPY. And I think living here and watching HGTV—both of these things combined—has made me realize that New York was just beating me down. I mean, the fireplace lady—yes, she's an idiot. But there's nothing wrong with wanting a dining room table. Why did I get so mad at that lady?

Since being here, at least once a day I ask myself why I have lived in New York for so long. (It's like I had Stockholm Syndrome or something.) CALIFORNIA IS AWESOME. It's like the promised land. It's sunny all the time and there are birds and flowers everywhere. I have space out here. I have a sofa on the patio out here. I HAVE A SOFA OUTSIDE. I haven't seen one rat since I've been here. But hummingbirds? THEY ZIP BY MY HEAD EVERY DAY. I am so happy.

I'm supposed to go back to New York in November, but truth be told, I'm not sure I will.

Well, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> feels your pain and decided to release a teaser for the lead single off his <a href="/news/articles/1680373/justin-bieber-believe-album.jhtml">album, Believe.</a> The 13-second, blink-and-you-might-miss-it tease is spare in terms of instruments, just bleeps and thumps, no singing or rapping. But it does play up Bieber's love for hip-hop; as it nears the end of the tease, a drum line-style beat kicks in. Deck the halls! The holiday kicked into high gear Wednesday night (November 30) when New York's massive Christmas tree was lit during "Christmas in Rockefeller Center." Plenty of A-listers were on hand, including Justin Bieber, who premiered his highly anticipated <a href="/news/articles/1673689/justin-bieber-mariah-carey-christmas-video.jhtml">video for "All I Want for Christmas Is You,"</a> featuring Mariah Carey. <div class="player-placeholder right" title="Justin Bieber Rocks Rockefeller Center" id="vid:715720" width="240" height="211"></div> Before the strings of lights were illuminated, performances from Michael Bublé, Katharine McPhee, Big Time Rush, Tony Bennett, Carole King and Neil Diamond warmed viewers up. But Bieber was the headline act of the night, giving fans some big performances and an even bigger video premiere. Bieber amped up the energy with his hip-hop-ified take on the Christmas classic <a href="/news/articles/1673334/justin-bieber-mariah-carey-christmas-song.jhtml">"Little Drummer Boy,"</a> which included him spitting a holiday-themed rhyme. Decked in all black, the teen star had the crowd screaming. He was even joined by Busta Rhymes, who appears on the Under the Mistletoe cut. JB then slowed things down with <a href="/news/articles/1673032/justin-bieber-usher-christmas-song.jhtml">"The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire),"</a> leaving his female fans swooning as he crooned the holiday standard. He was joined by his mentor Usher for the track. "God bless and Merry Christmas," Bieber told the crowd before tossing to the "All I Want for Christmas Is You" video. The clip features Mariah Carey dressed in a sexy Santa Claus outfit standing in a department store as she dances around singing the track, almost as if she's on display for holiday shoppers. It also sees Bieber and his pals shopping for some choice holiday gifts like high-top kicks. In between performance shots of Bieber and Mariah, a street-corner Santa Claus hands out envelopes to shoppers on the street, teasing an inevitable yuletide party scene. The shoppers are then welcomed into the department store, where Justin and Mariah hand out gifts to everyone. The duo tease and flirt with each other as everyone around them unwraps their gifts. Bieber and Carey re-recorded her classic holiday tune for his chart-topping holiday album, which also features appearances from the Band Perry and Boyz II Men. Sarah Jessica Parker Celebrates 47th Birthday with Her Adorable Family

Fresh off of celebrating the day in which she entered this world, Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted exiting a taxi cab at her West Village residence in New York City on Sunday (March 25).

The "Sex and the City" star was helped out by her mom, Barbara Parker, as the two lovely ladies each guided one of the twins, Marion and Tabitha, inside after a family outing in honor of SJP turning 47-years-old.

With balloons in tow, the quartet of girls were also joined by Sarah's actor husband, Matthew Broderick, and their son, James Wilkie, during the birthday festivities.

In a recent interview with People magazine, Broderick chatted candidly about family life and what his two young twin daughters are teaching him.

He explained, "I'm now used to being unable to give everything the attention it deserves all the time. You have to be cool like that sometimes - somebody will be screaming about something and you can't immediately give it to them. But they get used to it, so it's sort of nice in a way."

So with the women dominating the house now, how does the 49 year-old actor feel about his adorable twin girls?

"I know enough that the personality switches. One at the moment is more Type A. They're both kind of Type A. They're two. They just run everything, you know. They are really very attached to each other. They're really cute."
