Lady Gaga Goes Goth For Fame Perfume Trailer

<P>Crunchy synths and a dance beat serve as the soundtrack to <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml">Lady Gaga</a>'s eye-catching <a href="http://littlemonsters.com/video/502a18bae898f2d661002e6c" target="_blank">trailer</a> for her <a href="/news/articles/1687383/lady-gaga-fame-perfume.jhtml">Fame fragrance</a>, which hits stores in September.</P><P>In the Steven Klein-directed spot, Gaga wears latex — and in some cases nothing — as she commands a spaceship full of beefy guys. In the commercial, several images are intercut to weave together a sci-fi, Goth-style story where Gaga rises from the primordial ooze that is her black eau de parfum.</P><P><iframe width="420" height="280" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/qwGE-mhfigA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></P><P>When she isn't completely drenched in the oily black liquid, she's standing alongside her army, embracing with one or two of them and looking generally fierce and glamorous in one of many space-age couture looks.</P><P>As the trailer comes to a close, little men are seen climbing a nude, oversize Gaga, a setup previously <a href="/news/articles/1689786/lady-gaga-nude-perfume-ad.jhtml">teased in an ad</a> for the Mother Monster's first foray into the world of celebrity-endorsed perfumes.</P><P>In the latest issue of <a href="/news/articles/1691464/lady-gaga-september-vogue.jhtml"><i>Vogue,</i> Gaga opens up</a> about working with beauty brand Coty to perfect her perfume, making sure that while it looks black in the bottle, it sprays on completely clear. "The fragrance is called Fame. It must be black," she said in the issue for which she graces the cover in a Marc Jacobs gown. "It must be enticing. You must want to lick and touch and feel it, but the look of it must terrify you."</P><P>In addition to the trailer, Gaga previously released a <a href="/news/articles/1689920/lady-gaga-formulation-film-teases-fame-fragrance.jhtml">short film called "Formulation"</a> to get fans hyped about the release. The singer is also featured in a print ad wearing an <a href="/news/articles/1690972/lady-gaga-racy-fame-perfume-ad.jhtml">S&M latex bodysuit</a>.</P><P>Little Monsters should also look forward to the release of her <a href="/news/articles/1691226/lady-gaga-new-album-artpop.jhtml"><i>ARTPOP</i> album</a>. Halle Berry & Nahla's Pumpkin Patch Playdate
Getting into the Halloween spirit with her daughter, Halle Berry and Nahla visited Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in Los Angeles on Tuesday (October 30).
Wearing a brown and black sleeveless top, black pants, and black boots, the "Cloud Atlas" star joined in the fun by zipping down the slide with her face-painted 4-year-old.
Recently, the 46-year-old actress expressed an interest to play activist Angela Davis on the big screen. In the latest issue of InStyle magazine, Halle says, "Her story is so fascinating. I would love to bring it to the screen. I would pick her brain to have a better understanding of her affiliation with the Black Panthers and that period from the 1960s."
Last year, Ms. Berry was approached by the Queen of Soul herself to play Aretha Franklin in a biopic, but she graciously declined, telling E!, "If I could carry a tune, I?d consider it. Someone should tell Aretha that I can?t do her justice.?

Go see Captain America this weekend! Support our Colin!
I went to the premiere on Tuesday and it was the coolest thing ever. First, the movie is AMAZING and Chris Evans is a superstar. Second, there were so many damn people there it was insane. I have been to movie premieres in New York before and they were nothing like this. I mean, they closed down Hollywood Boulevard. I would've taken photos to show you, but the invite said to leave phones in the car. But here's a photo of me in my cool Captain America 3D glasses:

Madonna was booed last night at one of her own concerts for shocker, speaking her mind. That is right apparently some of her fans did not like what the singer had to say and they let her know it. So what did Madge say that made her loyal fans boo her? While performing in New Orleans last night Madonna decided it would be the perfect time to tell her fans who they should vote for, her choice of course Obama. Well some of those fans in the audience were not too thrilled with her suggestion or the fact that she decided to bring up politics at a concert. Although if you are a true Madonna fan you know she does the later all the freaking time, so that should not be very surprising at all. The whole thing started when the singer said the below words to her adoring audience. ?Who?s registered to vote? ?I don?t care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama.? <P>This year's September issue of <a href="http://www.vogue.com/magazine/article/dream-girl-lady-gaga/#1" target="_blank"><i>Vogue</i></a> is important not only because it's the <i>September issue,</i> but because it celebrates the magazine's 120 years in the business. And they've chosen the one and only <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml">Lady Gaga</a> as their cover girl.</P><P>For her <a href="/news/articles/1657656/lady-gaga-vogue.jhtml">second cover</a>, Gaga went ultra-glam; her hair platinum and big paired with an off-the-shoulder, mermaid-cut Marc Jacobs gown in multiple shades of fuchsia, purple and pink.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Lady Gaga Twitter Lightning Round!" id="vid:683377" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>The cover line promises, "Think you know Lady Gaga? Think again." And, in several quotes teased from the issue, which officially hits newsstands on August 14, Gaga dishes on not only her <i>Born This Way</i> Ball, but also the reasons she makes the music she does.</P><P>She also explained why it was so important that her fragrance appear so dark. "The fragrance is called <a href="/news/articles/1690972/lady-gaga-racy-fame-perfume-ad.jhtml">Fame</a>. It must be black," she said, noting that when she met with perfume designers they had to make sure it sprayed on clear. "It must be enticing. You must want to lick and touch and feel it, but the look of it must terrify you." As for her massive stage show, she explained that she wanted to "break the mold of what modern touring is now" and reinvent some of the images she's best known for, including that meat dress she wore to the 2010 VMAs.</P><P>"We were talking about putting the show together, and I said, 'OK, what if I was someone's grandma and I was going to a concert tonight? How would I know that it was a Gaga show?' " she said. "And we all just sort of looked at each other and said, 'The meat dress.' "</P><P>If the meat dress wasn't distinction enough, Gaga said what also makes her shows different is the way they make you feel. "I don't really make records for people to listen to and go, 'Wow, she's a genius.' " She added, "I'd really like you to order a drink, maybe kiss the person you came with that evening, or rediscover something about your past that makes you feel even more brave."</P><P>She explains in the issue that sometimes she doesn't just feel brave in her music, but also in her real life. And, despite her extremely high profile, she says she likes to "feel a little irresponsible and act like I'm 19." Nearly 740,000 votes were cast across the five categories (hip-hop, R&B, EDM, rock and pop) resulting in a winners' list led by both fan-favorite veteran acts and relative newcomers.</P><P>So who took home the gold in our Summer Jam Games? Chu, will be scouring <a href="http://www.youtube.com/ds2dio" target="_blank">Chu's D-Studio</link> to find the next great dancing talent. The campaign launched Friday (August 3), while in-person dance auditions kicked off earlier this week in L.A.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Justin Bieber Proving His Haters Wrong With 'Good Music'" id="vid:793035" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>"Justin also has such a huge online component, that's where he was discovered," Chu told <a href="http://www.eonline.com/news/335327/Justin-Bieber-Launches-New-Site-to-Find-Dancers-for-Believe-Tour" target="_blank">E! News</a>. "You can upload your own video and audition."</P><P>"We're only looking for the best dancers in the world. I know you and I, we want to take it to a whole other level," choreographer Nick DeMoura added in a video posted with Chu on D-Studio about the tour. "It's gonna be like an epic journey."</P><P>The guys are looking for dancers of all styles. Chu added that Bieber and the team have a certain goal for the tour, "We're gonna make you believe in magic." Submissions must be in by August 17. The tour kicks off September 29 in Glendale, Az. <a href="/news/articles/1690792/carly-rae-jepsen-justin-bieber-tour.jhtml">Carly Rae Jepsen will open</a> for the singer.</P><P>If dancers are looking for some inspiration, <a href="/news/articles/1688265/justin-bieber-after-believe.jhtml">manager Scooter Braun</a> has noted that the King of Pop has been influencing the <a href="/news/articles/1690978/rihanna-only-girl-best-pop-video-video-music-awards.jhtml">VMA-nominated Bieber</a> as of late.</P><P>Not only does Michael Jackson inspire the <a href="/news/articles/1691125/justin-bieber-michael-madsen-michael-jackson-connection.jhtml">"As Long As You Love Me" video</a>, but he also inspires the trek, kicking off this fall.</P><P>"He has been watching a tremendous amount of Michael Jackson concerts from the '80s and '90s," Braun shared. "And he has been talking to me about how Michael incorporated magic and pyro and reveals and he wants to bring in that. [But] still do that acoustic thing, but he wants to take it to a whole new level.</P><P>"It's just really exciting," he continued. "Nothing makes him happier than being onstage. So it's gonna be fun to get back onto the road. I think he was an amazing performer before, but his level of dance and musicianship and his range [has grown]. He's a veteran now. I went to the premiere on Tuesday and it was the coolest thing ever. First, the movie is AMAZING and Chris Evans is a superstar. Second, there were so many damn people there it was insane. I have been to movie premieres in New York before and they were nothing like this. I mean, they closed down Hollywood Boulevard. I would've taken photos to show you, but the invite said to leave phones in the car. But here's a photo of me in my cool Captain America 3D glasses:

Usher's Stepson's Family Asks For Prayers Following Jet Ski Accident

<P><MTVNLINK type="artist" id="1270">Usher</MTVNLINK>'s stepson, 11-year-old Kile Glover, remains in the hospital after suffering a traumatic head injury during a <a href="/news/articles/1689261/usher-kyle-glover-jet-ski-jeffrey-s-hubbard.jhtml">jet-ski accident</a> last weekend. Glover, the son of Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster, was <a href="/news/articles/1689206/ushers-stepson-declared-brain-dead-after-jet-ski-accident.jhtml">pronounced brain dead</a> on Sunday, but his family has issued a statement, saying that they are keeping positive thoughts and asking for prayers.</P><P>"We know God's in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time," the family told <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/10/showbiz/usher-stepson-injured/index.html" target="_blank">CNN</a> in a statement. "We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it's the best way we can all support him now."</P><P>According to CNN, Glover's family has already held a vigil for him at the hospital, and Usher visited the 11-year-old the morning after he was admitted to the hospital. The two had reportedly grown close during the R&B singer's two-year marriage to Foster.</P><P>The accident took place on Friday (July 6) when Glover and a second victim, a 15-year-old girl, were struck by a jet-ski while floating on an inner tube in Atlanta's Lake Lanier. Both children were airlifted to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston pediatric hospital. The girl is reported to have suffered from a cut on the head and a broken arm, while Glover took the brunt of the trauma to his head.</P><P>The man driving the jet ski has been identified as 38-year-old Jeffrey S. Hubbard, a family friend. At this time the police have determined that no drugs were involved, and no charges are being pressed. On Sunday TMZ reported that Glover was declared brain dead when doctors determined that he had not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted to the hospital on Friday.</P><P>Friends of Usher and his ex-wife have sent their well-wishes to the family via Twitter. "Wishing @TamekaRaymond's son godspeed recovery. horrible news to hear," Roots drummer Questlove tweeted, while Jermaine Dupri added, "Lifers! pls say a prayer for man Ryan, Tameka, Usher and the Glover family."</P>

Taylor Swift, Usher, Rihanna Set For iHeartRadio Music Festival
The two-day show, also featuring Lil Wayne, Aerosmith and many more, will take place in September in Las Vegas.

<P>Wondering who will take the stage at the second annual iHeartRadio Music Festival this year? Well, on Monday (July 9), the A-list-filled roster was announced.</P><P>In a press release, Clear Channel confirmed that <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/swift__taylor/artist.jhtml">Taylor Swift</a>, Aerosmith, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/rihanna/artist.jhtml">Rihanna</a>, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/Usher/artist.jhtml">Usher</a>, Bon Jovi, Lil Wayne, Green Day, Swedish House Mafia, No Doubt, Brad Paisley, Pitbull, deadmau5, Miranda Lambert, Enrique Iglesias, Linkin Park, Jason Aldean, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/pink/artist.jhtml">Pink</a>, Mary J. Blige, Calvin Harris and Shakira will all take the stage during the two-day festival. "The momentum, energy and music experience around the inaugural iHeartRadio Music Festival was incredible, and I'm excited to be a part of this must-see event."</P><P>More artists are expected to be added to the lineup closer to the show, which will take place on September 21 and 22 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Tickets for the two-day fest will go on sale on July 14.</P><P>"The iHeartRadio Music Festival is the ultimate celebration of what's hot in all genres of music, from rock, pop and country to electronic dance music, R&B and hip-hop," Tom Poleman, president of Clear Channel national programming and executive producer of the festival, added in the release.
