Usher Brings 2012 BET Awards To A 'Climax'
R&B crooner let his vocals do the dancing with a simple, stripped-down performance.

<P>With two spotlights shining down on him, a sleeveless <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="1270">Usher</MTVNLINK> belted out the first notes of his summer hit, "Climax," at Sunday's <a href="http://www.bet.com/shows/bet-awards/2012.html" target="_blank">2012 BET Awards</a>.</P><P>The R&B crooner stood center stage, wearing all black, save for a pair of hot-colored shoes, and sang the ballad with the electro-beat from his seventh studio album, <i>Looking 4 Myself,</i> in front of a live band. Some wicked, black-and-white animation danced behind him on a large screen that backlit the auditorium.</P><P>This was the first time Usher has performed at the awards show since 2010, where he also sang another ballad, "There Goes My Baby," from his <i>Raymond v. "Climax" hit #17 on the singles chart, while second track "Scream" has peaked at #13.</P><P>For his BET Awards performance, the multiplatinum, multi-Grammy-winning R&B singer kept it fairly muted. Save for a few quick microphone movements, he let his vocals dance during the performance. Bella Thorne in Teen Vogue May 2013: Acting Helped Me Overcome Dyslexia
Continuing to enjoy the success of her Disney Channel series "Shake It Up," Bella Thorne scored a feature in the May 2013 issue of Teen Vogue magazine.
While rocking designer duds from Jill Stuart and Suzaane Dai for the gorgeous Guy Lowndes photo shoot, the 15-year-old actress dished about discovering her dance talents while auditioning for the hit show and conquering her learning disability.

On her new-found love for dance:
"I was actually never a dancer. I just fell in love with the script - so I had to freestyle my way into the audition."
On her struggles with dyslexia:
"Acting isn't a side thing- you have to live and breathe it. And I have to work extra hard because I am dyslexic. People said that I couldn't be an actress, but I'm proving them wrong. Acting has helped me overcome the challenge."
On her future plans:
"After 'Shake It Up,' I want to do films, dramatic roles - and I also want to go to college. USC!"

I listen to you when you don't listen to me, but I won't do it for long so you better start listening.
And, yes, a hug can be nice, but showing me some respect is even better, so quit embracing me like a child and look me in the eye because YES, I AM A WOMAN!

All the Red Carpet Action at the White House Correspondents Dinner
Tonight's White House Correspondents Dinner gathered celebrities from New York and LA to Washington, DC. There were plenty of ladies decked out in the red carpet finest, including Katy Perry in Giambattista Valli, Kerry Washington in Wes Gordon, Kate Mara in white Prada and more. Amy Poehler also went for white, choosing a dress from Basler. Nashville's Connie Britton wore a bright blue Temperley London number, while her costar Hayden Panettiere picked a yellow Katharine Kidd gown. Color was a popular choice, as Veep's Julia Louis-Dreyfus picked purple. Claire Danes went with baby blue to hit the dinner with her husband Hugh Dancy.
Plenty of guys turned out too -�Modern Family's Ty Burrell and Eric Stonestreet, Matthew Perry ,and Scandal's Tony Goldwyn were among those who stepped out to hear jokes from emcee Conan O'Brien. Check back for more stars on the Correspondents Dinner red carpet!

Selena Gomez Says She's 'Lucky' To Have Justin Bieber

Gomez also discussed her aspirations to take acting to a whole new level and her dreams to make music with <i>another</i> Justin.</P><P>Describing her relationship with Bieber as "really fun," Gomez told the mag she feels "lucky" to have the young singer by her side. "I'm 20. I don't take anything in my personal life too seriously," she says. "I have great friends and a solid group of people I love. "I don't necessarily feel accomplished. I want to create a whole different persona when it comes to acting," she explained.</P><P>Gomez is also planning to take her music to the next level too, and there's one star she's dying to hit the studio with. Amanda Bynes Cheek Piercing: Fashion Fail!
Okay, I don’t want to simply jump on the dog pile. I don’t want to come off as a bully, either. But this column is supposed to be about celebrities who make unfortunate fashion decisions, and this fits the bill. Amanda Bynes apparently decided to pierce both cheeks. She has metal studs coming from both sides of her face, in exactly the same place. They are little little silvery dimples. I just find it trashy. She is better than that. If you look at the old pictures of her, she had a simply look that worked for her. Everyone is now saying that she is losing her mind. Some of the things she says and Tweets might support that, but that’s not what I’m going for. I just think she should have thought twice before putting holes in her cheeks. 'Wayne's World' Cast Reunites? Party Time!
This is most excellent news: Mike Myers and Dana Carvey have set aside their differences and reunited the cast of Wayne's World! For the film's 21st anniversary, the men behind Wayne and Garth -- who originated as SNL characters -- joined co-stars Rob Lowe, Tia Carerre and Lara Flynn Boyle for a special screening of the 1992 comedy. At $5 a ticket, the Beverly Hills event sold out in just 90 seconds!

<P>Contrary to the breakup rumors that flooded the Internet earlier this month, Selena Gomez is perfectly happy with <a href="/news/articles/1690653/justin-bieber-writes-song-selena-gomez.jhtml">pop-star boyfriend Justin Bieber</a>.</P><P>He's just one of a few topics the <a href="http://www.mtv.com/ontv/vma/2012/">VMA</a> nominee chatted about with <a href="http://www.teenvogue.com/industry/coverlook/coverlook-september-2012/selena-gomez-teen-vogue-photos" target="_blank"><i>Teen Vogue</i></a> for a September cover story. Gomez also discussed her aspirations to take acting to a whole new level and her dreams to make music with <i>another</i> Justin.</P><P>Describing her relationship with Bieber as "really fun," Gomez told the mag she feels "lucky" to have the young singer by her side. "I'm 20. I don't take anything in my personal life too seriously," she says. "I have great friends and a solid group of people I love. I feel like everything else will come organically."</P><P>Unlike <a href="/news/articles/1686645/miley-cyrus-liam-hemsworth-engaged.jhtml">fellow Disney alum Miley Cyrus</a>, the pint-size pop star isn't interested in walking down the aisle anytime soon, saying, "Marriage and all that other stuff I think will happen once I feel accomplished in every other aspect of my life."</P><P>But if there's one thing Gomez is pushing for it's her long-term goal to shake off her predictable good-girl reputation. One major step in making her Mickey Mouse days a distant memory is her <a href="/news/articles/1684137/selena-gomez-spring-breakers.jhtml">girls-gone-wild adventure flick "Spring Breakers,"</a> which hits theaters in early 2013. She tells the magazine that after she read the script for the Harmony Korine-directed film, she took a plane to the director's home in Nashville to convince him that she would "work really hard."</P><P>And while she describes her role in 2011's "Monte Carlo" as "a good step for me at the time," Gomez said she would never want to do something like that again. "I don't necessarily feel accomplished. I want to create a whole different persona when it comes to acting," she explained.</P><P>Gomez is also planning to take her music to the next level too, and there's one star she's dying to hit the studio with. Janelle Evans Arrested After Spat With Boyfriend
Wow. So Janelle Evans was arrested again, but this time it’s pretty serious. If she is found guilty of this one, it may turn out that her mother was right about her all along. This story is almost too sad to be real. The girl who has struggled to stay out of jail and off drugs is now being accused of possessing twelve bundles of heroin. Yes, you read that correctly. Twelve. She and her ever-so-classy boyfriend were allegedly having some kind of altercation when the police showed up. She is accused of hitting him in the head with some object, he is accused of striking her with a closed fist, and they are both basically screwed. On top of the violence, the police say she had a bunch of heroin and pot paraphernalia. The really top it off, she was supposedly arrested for failing to pay child support. Sound like Janelle to you? Usher's Stepson's Family Asks For Prayers Following Jet Ski Accident
Kile Glover, 11, remains hospitalized after suffering traumatic head injury.

<P><MTVNLINK type="artist" id="1270">Usher</MTVNLINK>'s stepson, 11-year-old Kile Glover, remains in the hospital after suffering a traumatic head injury during a <a href="/news/articles/1689261/usher-kyle-glover-jet-ski-jeffrey-s-hubbard.jhtml">jet-ski accident</a> last weekend. Glover, the son of Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster, was <a href="/news/articles/1689206/ushers-stepson-declared-brain-dead-after-jet-ski-accident.jhtml">pronounced brain dead</a> on Sunday, but his family has issued a statement, saying that they are keeping positive thoughts and asking for prayers.</P><P>"We know God's in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time," the family told <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/10/showbiz/usher-stepson-injured/index.html" target="_blank">CNN</a> in a statement. "We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it's the best way we can all support him now."</P><P>According to CNN, Glover's family has already held a vigil for him at the hospital, and Usher visited the 11-year-old the morning after he was admitted to the hospital. The two had reportedly grown close during the R&B singer's two-year marriage to Foster.</P><P>The accident took place on Friday (July 6) when Glover and a second victim, a 15-year-old girl, were struck by a jet-ski while floating on an inner tube in Atlanta's Lake Lanier. Both children were airlifted to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston pediatric hospital. The girl is reported to have suffered from a cut on the head and a broken arm, while Glover took the brunt of the trauma to his head.</P><P>The man driving the jet ski has been identified as 38-year-old Jeffrey S. Hubbard, a family friend. At this time the police have determined that no drugs were involved, and no charges are being pressed. On Sunday TMZ reported that Glover was declared brain dead when doctors determined that he had not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted to the hospital on Friday.</P><P>Friends of Usher and his ex-wife have sent their well-wishes to the family via Twitter. "Wishing @TamekaRaymond's son godspeed recovery. horrible news to hear," Roots drummer Questlove tweeted, while Jermaine Dupri added, "Lifers! pls say a prayer for man Ryan, Tameka, Usher and the Glover family."</P>

Justin Bieber?s Tour Bus Reportedly Raided for Weed
During a stop on his Believe World Tour, Justin Bieber's bus reportedly got stopped for possession of drugs and weapons.
According to Swedish publication Afton Bladet, the ?Boyfriend? singer?s ride reeked of marijuana and was pulled over in Stockholm.
?We found a small amount of alleged narcotics and an eloctrochock weapon,? Lars Bystrom from the Stockholm police department confirmed.
Police raided the bus while Bieber was performing on stage. ?A colleague felt a strong smell of marijuana, like someone had been smoking in the bus," Bystrom said.
According to reports, panic broke out once the police entered the bus. ?A couple of dancers started running around screaming 'No weed!' and another member of Bieber's crew yelled 'S***, the stash,'" a source claims.
Earlier this morning, Justin took to Twitter, writing, "Some of the rumors about me. ...where do people even get this stuff. whatever ...back to the music." In light of the speed bump, Bieber is moving on with his tour and has already left Stockholm.
Lindsay Lohan To Star In Lady Gaga Music Video?
Sources say Mother Monster and the starlet might work together for a clip from ARTPOP, but Lohan's rep is 'not confirming' reports.

News</a>, saying there's a real, mutual friendship between the two women. The duo originally made headlines this summer after Gaga posted photos of their L.A. rendezvous to her <a href="/news/articles/1691382/lady-gaga-little-monsters-website.jhtml">Little Monsters website</a>.</P><P>"Gaga really likes Lindsay and Lindsay is really happy to be able to be part of it," the insider said. "She has a genuine respect and admiration for Gaga and her music."</P><P>It certainly wouldn't be the first time Gaga has cast a real-life pal in one of her music videos. Justin Timberlake Talks Marriage on "Ellen"
He has been making the rounds at some pretty big events, and on Thursday (April 25), Justin Timberlake will appear on ?The Ellen DeGeneres Show.?
The ?Suit & Tie? crooner will join the host for the full hour program, and will perform as well as chat about his music and his marriage to Jessica Biel.
In a sneak peek, the Memphis native calls marrying the actress a really good decision, saying, ?It?s nice to marry your best friend. It suits me.?
He continued, ?Every once in a while I can catch a glimpse of her when she doesn?t see me looking and I have this moment where I?m like if you never make a good decision?if you only make bad decisions for the rest of your life. You made one really good decision.?
