Shailene Woodley Donates Hair to Charity; Shows Off New Look

Enjoying a sunny weekend day out, Shailene Woodley stopped by a friend?s house on Saturday (August 17) in Los Angeles.

Sporting drastically shorter locks, the ?Descendants? cutie showed off her new hairstyle to the her pal as the duo sat on the porch.

Though the 21-year-old got her hair cut to prepare for her role in ?The Fault in Our Stars,? she also put the hair toward a good cause- an organization called Children with Hair Loss.

On her Tumblr page, Shailene explained, "Not only do I have the opportunity to externally shift my current establishment of self, but i have the blessed gift of donating my long locks to a wonderful organization who will then create a wig for someone in need. WHAT AN HONOR."
