Halle Berry has come out with guns blazing in her custody battle against ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry -- but it seems that he may have some hidden ammo of his own. According to RadarOnline, Aubry, the father of Berry's 2-year-old daughter Nahla, is in possession of emails, text messages and voicemails from Berry, 44, that demonstrate "her angry and jealous rages" against him.
"She left a crazy message on Gabe's cell just after some pictures came out of him at a Lakers game with a girl last year," a friend of the 35-year-old Canadian model tells the website. "She is mega, mega p***ed in the message, calling him, and the girl, all kinds of names -- it's certainly something Halle wouldn't want heard. Gabriel played it to me at the time, and said: 'See what I have to deal with?!'"
That "girl" at the Lakers game, incidentally, was Kim Kardashian, 30, and a source close to Berry confirms to People that Halle was none too pleased with Aubry's brief courtship with the reality starlet (they reportedly went on just two dates). "Halle was very upset," the source tells People. "She was upset at the idea of someone like that being in her daughter's life. She did not want a reality star in Nahla's life. She was very aggravated."
Meanwhile, a friend of Aubry tells People that Nahla was never anywhere near Kardashian. "Gabriel wanted to make sure he dated someone for six months before he introduced them to his daughter," insists the source. "There was never for a second a thought by Kim or Gabriel that Nahla would ever go near cameras."
Regardless, another of Aubry's friends tells RadarOnline that Gabriel has no intention of leaking the tapes to the media. In the interest of protecting Nahla, he's reportedly saving the evidence for the private court hearing.
"He could totally do a number on her if he chose to," says the friend. "But he's a nice guy at the end of the day and, unlike Halle, Gabe's not concerned with the public believing he is the 'wronged one' and with controlling his image -- he is concerned with his daughter and her welfare."
That said, RadarOnline has reportedly gotten their hands on one brief but eloquent email from Berry to Aubry. According to the site, the message reads: "You were only good for one thing... Thanks for the donation." Ouch.
There's no word on how Radar learned the contents of that message, but we're betting it's one of Aubry's anonymous pals who's been chatting with the site. For now, we have to admire Aubry's restraint in not releasing all of the voicemails and emails.
A source close to Berry has claimed that Aubry was"vindictive" and "verbally threatening" to his ex, even calling her a racial slur -- though Aubry's friends deny hearing him ever use the "N" word and say that, if anything, Berry was abusive to him. Earlier, there were rumors that Berry was furious with Aubry for dating other celebs, and that she had gone so far as to hire a P.I. to dig up dirt on her ex.
Right now, we've got an epic case of "he said, she said" on our hands... and it isn't likely to be resolved until the custody case has its day in court.
