Sofia Vergara Signs on to Produce ?Raising Mom?

There?s absolutely nothing she can?t do, and Sofia Vergara just joined the forthcoming ABC series ?Raising Mom? as an executive producer.

The ?Machete Kills? babe?s relationship with her 21-year-old son Manolo was actually the inspiration behind the project, created by Luis Balaguer, who works for Vergara?s Latin World Entertainment company.

According to an insider, ?Raising Mom? will be based on a young single mother and son who end up raising each other.

Sofia?s ?Modern Family? director Gail Mancuso will helm the show, while ?Raising Hope scribe Christine Zander will handle the writing duties.
